What is the Composition of the Shiran Woman's 'Crystal' Tears?

A young woman from the village of Spandaryan in the Shirak Province is experiencing tears that contain crystal-like substances.

The Deputy Minister of Health has sent samples for examination. Two weeks have passed since then.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, preliminary data suggests that these are mass that resembles glass crystals. However, to determine the main composition, further research is needed, and it remains unclear whether there is a laboratory in Armenia capable of conducting such tests.

When asked if this phenomenon poses any health risks, the ministry advised to consult an ophthalmologist.
