If I Receive a Letter from the State Revenue Committee, I Will Gladly Read It and Discuss It. Sona Shahgeldyan

Singer Sona Shahgeldyan stated that she has not received a letter from the State Revenue Committee as she no longer lives at her previous address. In an interview with "Armenian Time," the singer mentioned:

“I have changed my address, and maybe it was given to my mother? I'm not aware of it yet. My mother takes care of these matters for me. If I receive a letter, I will gladly read it and will definitely go and discuss it regarding the issue,” said Sona Shahgeldyan.

We previously reported that among the nine representatives of the show business who received a letter from the State Revenue Committee is also singer Sona Shahgeldyan. She assured that as long as she has participated in state events, she has paid her dues. “In the past, I worked in clubs, but now I have exited and am no longer registered there. If I get registered, of course, I will pay,” she stated.

The singer emphasized that she is very conscientious, and it is impossible that she has not paid her dues. She pointed out once again that there needs to be a proper scheme and approach in terms of paying taxes and declaring income. Sona Shahgeldyan recalled when she was recognized as the best young singer at the "New Wave" contest in Jūrmala, Latvia, and received money from which she paid taxes to the state. “I want to emphasize that I earned that money through my honest work. In the past ten years, no one has won that tough competition. I am not against it in any way; my point is that I have always paid a certain percentage,” she concluded.
