Football Federation Prohibits One Individual from Attending Armenia-Italy and Armenia-Bosnia and Herzegovina Matches
The official website of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has issued a statement: "Regarding the prohibition of access for organizations and individuals to stadiums, the FFA has received inquiries, to which we respond that the FFA has a responsibility to ensure the safety of the matches held and is responsible for maintaining public order in the stadiums, in accordance with the regulations set forth by FIFA and UEFA, as well as in line with their spirit and letter.
As is the case in many countries, there are individuals whose behavior does not contribute to the maintenance of order in the stadiums or who have engaged in actions that, in essence, harm the reputation of Armenian football. For such cases, we currently consider it inappropriate for the individual(s) involved to enter the stadium.
Access has been prohibited for just one individual for the matches that took place on September 5 and 8 against Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, respectively; there is an ongoing criminal investigation against them."
