Fact: The Meeting Between the Sasna Tsrer and Pashinyan Received a Strong Response from State Structures
The newspaper "Fact" reports: The meeting between Jirayr Sefilyan and Garegin Chugasyan of the "Sasna Tsrer" with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which took place the day before, was anything but ordinary. It received quite a strong response.
According to the newspaper's information, by activating the "Sasna Tsrer," Pashinyan aims to create a new hub of confrontation against political groups threatening his power on one hand, while on the other, the "Tsrer" will play a role as a sort of "political hammer" in calming tensions within the government by responding firmly to them.
The paper has also learned that the meeting was met with considerable backlash in state structures. In particular, according to the newspaper's source within the police force, representatives from high-level police circles expressed dissatisfaction that the Prime Minister had warmly welcomed the leadership of a group responsible for the terrorism in Yerevan, a group that has led to the deaths of three police officers.
