Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Summarizes the Results of the Ambassadorial Gathering

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, summarized the results of the annual conference of the leaders of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic representations and consular establishments held in Armenia and Artsakh.

"This annual conference of the leaders of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic representations and consular establishments was the first to be held in Armenia after the Velvet Revolution. We emphasized three dimensions of values that underpin our foreign policy. The conference had a new format of organization. We arranged our work in such a way that our representatives in the diplomatic field could have interactions with the business community. We had a meeting with the Minister of Economy, which revealed certain issues related to the formation of collective orders. We also met with the Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church, where we discussed various issues of cooperation between the ministry and the Holy See, as well as between the diplomatic representations and the Apostolic Church. We met with the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. The visit to Artsakh was of great significance. Without that visit, the ambassadorial gathering would have been incomplete. We had substantive discussions with the President of Artsakh and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the ambassadorial gathering, I also presented the three principles of Armenia's foreign policy," Mnatsakanyan stated.
