Tigran Avinyan Meets with Moldova's Ambassador Ruslan Bolbochan

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to Armenia, Ruslan Bolbochan (based in Kyiv) on September 6.

According to the office of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, Ambassador Bolbochan stated that the two nations share deep historical ties, and Moldova wishes to develop amicable relations with Armenia in a comprehensive manner.

In this context, the role of continuous dialogue among senior officials from both countries and official mutual visits was emphasized. Tigran Avinyan highlighted the necessity to actively work towards shaping a broad agenda for cooperation, particularly paying attention to the trade and economic sector.

In this regard, the sides emphasized the importance of holding the first meeting of the Armenian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation and organizing business conferences.

The interlocutors also discussed issues related to expanding the legal framework, humanitarian and cultural cooperation, and air communications.
