Meeting of the State Real Estate Sale or Lease Regulation Commission Held
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure informs that today, at the instruction of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and pursuant to the government's decision number 949-N dated June 27, 2019, the inaugural meeting of the inter-agency commission for regulating the sale or lease of state real estate was held. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure (Chairman of the Commission) Karen Isakhanyan.
During the meeting, the participants discussed effective model options for the sale or lease of buildings and land plots included in the state property registration database, which present potential investment attractiveness. Representatives of various departments proposed several sector-specific recommendations regarding the feasibility of selling or leasing properties on the state’s balance sheet, clarifying the criteria for the process, and ensuring the effectiveness of the planned measures.
As a result of the ideas and observations voiced during the discussions, the commission members agreed to enhance the existing procedures through periodic meetings and consultations, and to develop a coordinated inter-agency action plan.
