Employment Agencies Adopt New Direction

“The politics of employment agencies has undergone certain changes. Previously, they mainly posted job advertisements offering quite high salaries to attract attention. Now, it seems that another direction has been adopted, again adjusting to the needs of job seekers—no mandatory experience required.

“Sandwich makers—experience not required,” “Cashiers—experience not necessary,” “Receptionists, order-takers—no experience necessary…”

“I have several complaints that these agencies are not functioning properly, they do not provide real help, charge money before delivering services, and give information that is mostly not useful,” said Armen Poghosyan, president of the Consumers' Union, in an interview with "Hraparak". He emphasized that his observations indicate this.”
