David Sanasaryan Announces Decision to Request Termination of Criminal Prosecution
Former Head of the State Revenue Committee, David Sanasaryan, has published a document on his Facebook page announcing his decision to submit a petition for the cessation of criminal prosecution against him.
“I inform you that after reviewing the materials of the criminal case with my lawyers, we have decided to submit a petition to terminate the criminal prosecution against me, referencing all the materials already available in the criminal case. After the prosecution and investigative body review the petition, we will hold a press conference and respond to all questions,” he stated.
“At the same time, while I am confident that the vast majority of the public believes in my impartiality, integrity, and principled stance, I want to inform those who have fallen under the influence of gossip circulated in the mass media and on Facebook that there is no such information in the materials of the criminal case, including operational data. Attached, I am publishing the results of the operational measures carried out by the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the National Security Service at the directive of the investigative body. Justice will definitely be restored. I love you all,” he wrote.
