Armenia's Foreign Minister and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister to Meet Soon
Soon, the next meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, will take place. This was announced by Mnatsakanyan during a press conference held on September 6, although he did not specify the exact date of the meeting.
“Our government has clearly expressed the seriousness of our intentions to actively work towards the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the number of meetings this year between foreign ministers and the leaders of both countries already demonstrates that seriousness. Our meeting is planned to take place soon; we have agreed to announce the meeting simultaneously, and I, of course, do not wish to break that,” said Mnatsakanyan.
The last meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place on June 20 in Washington.
