The Football Federation of Armenia Prepares to Present a New Vision for Football Development to UEFA's President - Vanetsyan
Today is a football celebration in Yerevan. The Armenian national team will compete against the Italian national team. The Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium will be packed, as all tickets for the match have been sold out.
UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin will also be in attendance to watch the Armenia-Italy match. Aysor.am inquired with Arthur Vanetsyan, the President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), about his expectations for this match and how FFA plans to impress the UEFA president.
„Just like in this game, I expect dignified football from our national team in all upcoming matches. The result is always important, but I value competitive spirit, the pursuit of victory, giving our best on the field, and showcasing beautiful play even more,” said the FFA President.
Arthur Vanetsyan believes that the national team will provide enjoyable moments for the fans. “I hope that the matches against Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina will bring pleasant moments for us and delight our fans with honorable play. I urge all our supporters to back the team and believe that the boys can achieve success in the most challenging competitions,” he stated.
The FFA President is hopeful that UEFA's president will be impressed by the performance of the Armenian national team. “The FFA is preparing to present a new vision for football development in the regions to UEFA's president. I hope that the players of the Armenian national team will surprise UEFA's delegation with their play in the stadium,” concluded Arthur Vanetsyan.
