Zelensky Imposes Veto on Law Regarding Castration of Paedophiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed a veto on the law concerning the castration of paedophiles. This information was reported by 112 Ukraine, citing the relevant document.

The document has been returned to the Rada, along with Zelensky's proposals.

It is noted that the law proposed chemical castration for paedophiles convicted of raping individuals under the age of 14. However, the bill does not apply to those who committed such crimes during their teenage years or who are over the age of 65.
