When the Municipality Provides Funding, 'Sanitek' Will Also Resume Work, Company Spokesperson

At the moment when the municipality fulfills its obligations, 'Sanitek' will also resume its operations. This was stated by Sanitek's Public Relations Officer Khnarike Arakelyan in an interview with Tert.am.

“In our last public letter, we mentioned that at the moment the municipality fulfills its obligations, 'Sanitek' will also resume its work. Currently, the financial situation does not allow us to carry out waste collection,” Arakelyan stated.

It should be noted that 'Sanitek' has not been collecting trash in Yerevan for the fifth consecutive day, stating that the Yerevan Municipality has not paid them over 330 million drams.

“We have officially presented everything. Please refer to our announcement on Sunday; it contains all the information comprehensively. Regarding mutual accusations, I know what statements 'Sanitek' is making. In any case, the municipality has very clearly and straightforwardly presented its position, actions, the reasons for the situation created, and the ways to resolve it,” said Hakob Karapetyan, the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, addressing the issue of 'Sanitek's' failure to perform its duties in an interview with Tert.am.

Previously, Hakob Karapetyan had posted on his page, stating that the company had received fines from the municipality during this period solely in accordance with the contract for unperformed or inadequately performed work. The evidence of 'Sanitek's' inadequate performance in recent months is evident at every turn across the streets and yards of Yerevan.
