The Film 'Sun, Mountains, and Love' to Premiere at the 16th Salento International Film Festival
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, the film 'Sun, Mountains, and Love' by Mikael Poghosyan will be presented at the opening of the 16th Salento International Film Festival.
This was announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia. At the invitation of the festival director Gigi Campanile, Shushanig Mirzakhanyan, the director of the National Cinema Center of Armenia, will attend the event held in the city of Tricase from September 4-8, 2019.
The 'Salento' International Film Festival was founded in 2004 in Tricase, Italy. The festival's slogan is 'Celebration of Independent Films from Around the World.'
The Salento festival has become an international event thanks to its 'traveling' concept, which began in 2010 at London's 'Prince Charles' cinema with film screenings. Since then, Salento's film festival has showcased independent films worldwide, including in Zurich, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Hong Kong, Santiago de Chile, Yerevan, and elsewhere. The festival is entirely dedicated to independent productions and has an innovative framework that defines high-quality content.
