Passenger Traffic Increased by 15 Percent

In August of the current year, passenger traffic at Armenia's two airports totaled 399,635 people, surpassing the figures from the same month in 2018 by 15 percent. This was announced by Armenia International Airports Company.

In August 2019, compared to the same period in 2018, passenger traffic at Zvartnots International Airport increased by 16.3 percent. In August 2018, 329,666 passengers used the services of Zvartnots airport, while in August 2019, the number reached 383,504.

In August 2019, passenger traffic at Shirak Airport in Gyumri amounted to 16,131 people, which represents a decrease of 9.5 percent compared to the 17,827 passengers in the same month of 2018.
