11-Year-Old Girl's Life Saved After Accident in Alaverdi
The press service of the Holy Mother of God Medical Center reports that doctors have successfully saved the life of an 11-year-old girl injured in an accident in Alaverdi.
On August 25, an unfortunate incident occurred in Alaverdi, Lori Province: an unattended vehicle parked on an inclined street struck the girl.
The child was transported to the Alaverdi Medical Center, where she received first aid, and was subsequently transferred to the Vanadzor Medical Center due to the seriousness of her condition.
Considering the severity of her condition, Deputy Director of Surgery at Yerevan's Holy Mother of God Medical Center, David Dallakyan, and Head of the Intensive Care Unit, Anna Chobanyan, traveled to Vanadzor and performed surgery in collaboration with local doctors to conduct a spleen plastic surgery.
After stabilizing her condition, the girl was transferred in extremely serious condition to Yerevan's Holy Mother of God Medical Center. There has been positive progress; she has regained consciousness and has been moved from the intensive care unit to the surgical unit, where she continues to be under the supervision of medical staff. Her condition is assessed as serious but stable.
