VIDEO: 12 Cubic Meters of Illegal Timber Discovered in Lori

The police continue their fight against illegal logging. Recently, the police in the Lori region uncovered another case.

On August 30, around 5 a.m., officers from the Gugark police division intercepted a "ZIL-130" truck driven by a 30-year-old resident of Vanadzor on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway in the administrative territory of the village of Pambak, under suspicion of carrying illegal timber.

The vehicle was loaded with 12 cubic meters of timber. Police later determined that the timber belonged to a resident of the village of Ahnidzor, who had acquired it from a nearby forest on August 8.

Investigations are ongoing, and documentation is being prepared regarding the incident.
