Preparations Intensify Within ARF Structure Ahead of Pashinyan's Visit to the USA
According to the newspaper Hraparak, "On September 22, Nikol Pashinyan will travel to the USA. Ahead of this visit, there is a flurry of activity within the ARF structure. Pro-opposition in the homeland and pro-government ARF members in the diaspora are reportedly making every effort to ensure that Pashinyan's meeting with the local Armenian community is impressive.
It should be noted that they also did not spare any effort in organizing the visit of the National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan. A prominent advocate of the pro-government line, Vigen Hovhannisyan, from the Supreme Body of Western America, stands in opposition to Hrant Margaryan. However, the ARF's active engagement has not particularly excited the members back home. Yesterday, neither the Bureau nor any member of the GM could be reached for comment.
Spartak Seyranian said he was not giving interviews, while Kiro Manoyan hastily left upon hearing that we had questions: "Please direct all inquiries to the GM." We attempted to understand how he guessed what the question was about. Manoyan remained adamant: "For all inquiries, please contact the GM." More details can be found in the newspaper's current issue.
