Armenia Ranks 8th in Incoming Tourist Arrivals of Foreigners
The tourist portal TurStat has presented a ranking of countries for incoming tourism to Russia during the first six months of 2019. According to this list, Armenia is among the top ten destinations for foreign tourists. This was reported by Rusarminfo.ru.
According to TurStat's data, in the first half of this year, Armenia occupied the 8th position in terms of the number of incoming tourist arrivals from foreign citizens, with 260,000 visitors.
The number of flights from Armenia to Russia has not changed compared to last year. The top ten list includes Ukraine with 3.4 million passengers, Kazakhstan with 1.5 million, China with 780,000, Finland with 430,000, Azerbaijan with 418,000, Poland with 323,000, Germany with 270,000, Armenia with 260,000, Moldova with 189,000, and Estonia with 232,000.
The ranking is based on an analysis of statistics of foreign incoming tourist arrivals in Russia.
