Condition of Two Armenian Citizens Injured in Tbilisi Accident is Critical

Two passengers from a minibus transporting travelers between Yerevan and Batumi, who were involved in an accident near Tbilisi on the night of August 31, remain hospitalized in "New Hospital" in Tbilisi.

The hospital has communicated to "Alik Media" that the condition of both patients is being assessed by doctors as critically unstable. Their relatives have not provided consent for their transportation.

Of the eight passengers transferred to the same hospital, five were discharged after receiving initial medical assistance. Earlier, it was decided in consultation with Georgian partners to transfer four injured citizens back to Armenia.

From Armenia, three medical teams were sent to Tbilisi by ambulance. This information was posted on Facebook by Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

It is important to recall that on August 31, around 2:00-3:00 AM, the minibus carrying passengers from Yerevan to Batumi had an accident before reaching Tbilisi. As a result of the accident, two individuals lost their lives—citizens G.A. and M.S. The remaining passengers were transported to hospitals in Tbilisi with varying degrees of injuries.
