Sevan Water Level to Begin Rising, Prime Minister Says

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, announced on his Facebook page: "I have received the latest water withdrawal data from Lake Sevan. As of August 26 of this year, we have released 45 million 616 thousand cubic meters less water compared to the same period last year. Everything points to the fact that this year no water withdrawal exceeding the legal limit will be carried out from Sevan, and the water level will visibly start to rise."
