Video: Environmentalists Accuse Officials of Imposing Absurd Arbitration Compensation Expectations
During a live broadcast on the Environmental Protection Agency's Facebook page, environmentalist Anna Shahnazaryan stated: "Tigran Avinyan mentioned an absurd figure for the first time in one of his interviews, claiming it was the expected compensation from 'Lydian' as a result of arbitration. This figure has been circulated and is being used in a shameless manner to impose the notion of such arbitration compensation on specific individuals, for example, environmentalists, which has absolutely no basis."
Environmentalists also discussed the operation of the Teghut mine, stating that the current Minister of Economy, Tigran Khachatryan, is to blame for the financial collapse there. "The same Tigran Khachatryan, who is now minister, has been the financial director of Teghut for 10 years and has not been held accountable for the resulting situation," they added.
