Firefighters are real men, better than some others: Felix Tsolakyan expresses anger during operational consultation

On August 26, Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan held an operational consultation with the participation of the ministry's leadership. The created fire hazard situation was discussed, and the actions derived from it were analyzed in detail.

Minister Tsolakyan noted that from now on, a thorough analysis should be conducted after each major fire, clarifying the causes, assigning personal responsibility to those who neglected their duties, and similarly encouraging the employees who performed their work properly.

In his speech, Tsolakyan expressed his anger at the behavior of certain leaders of fire and rescue services, stating that casually issuing orders while dressed in a white shirt is unprofessional when other employees are fighting against fire and smoke. “What does it mean to flutter around the fire scene in a white shirt while one person is burning in the fire, and another is simply giving orders? Who are they really helping? There are heads of city divisions who are just fluttering around; what is their job?” the minister said, instructing to present to him the names of all those who simply stood and issued orders in the area. He then expressed gratitude to the lower-level employees.

“I want to thank the lower-level employees, they are real men, better than some others. I will do everything to raise their salaries, everything,” emphasized the minister.
