Video: Approximately 6.5 Hectares of Forest Area Burning in Saravan Village

On August 29, at 08:30 AM, firefighting efforts resumed in Saravan village of Vayots Dzor province where a fire broke out. Two operational groups and one firefighting unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been dispatched to the scene. This information has been reported by the Ministry’s press service.

Firefighting efforts involve 21 firefighters, 18 rescuers from the special rescue operations center of the rescue forces management, 15 servicemen from military unit N, and 10 staff members from the regional forestry division of the Hayantar SNCO.

It is worth noting that a fire ignited in the forest area of Saravan village on August 27 at 11:59 AM.
