Gagik Khachatryan in Court: Details from the Hearing

The hearing regarding the measure of restraint for former head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Gagik Khachatryan has been postponed. This information was provided to reporters by Khachatryan's lawyer, Yerem Sargsyan, who added that it will continue tomorrow, August 30, at 1:00 PM.

The attorney informed that Gagik Khachatryan attended the court session.

It is worth noting that the National Security Service arrested Gagik Khachatryan and his nephew, former SRC official Karen Khachatryan, on August 27. The same day, searches were conducted at locations belonging to them. The charges brought against them relate to alleged crimes committed during Gagik Khachatryan's tenure as Minister of Finance and head of the SRC.
