Video: Why Aren't Affected Businessmen Demanding Compensation from 'Dzunyk'?
Two businessmen affected by the fire at the cold storage of 'Dzunyk' LLC held a press conference today. They addressed the government and the Prime Minister.
Journalists inquired whether the contract signed with the refrigeration company includes obligations that have not been fulfilled, particularly regarding compensation, and why they are not approaching the company directly.
The businessmen responded that their contract does imply compensation, but they cannot demand it because 'Dzunyk' LLC has been declared bankrupt. Therefore, they are turning to the government to process a request that 'Dzunyk' LLC has prepared and is likely to present soon for the purpose of obtaining support.
They also discussed the issue of waiving customs duties for the affected businessmen.
