Three People Arrested Following Brawl in Gndevaz
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a dispute and brawl that occurred in the village of Gndevaz on August 25. Aravik Khachatryan, head of the public relations department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, stated this in an interview with Armenpress.
"A criminal case has been initiated under Section 1 of Part 3 of Article 258 (hooliganism)," Khachatryan said.
On August 25, the Jerashen Police Department received a report that two men had been taken to Vayk Medical Center with lacerations to the right ear and cuts to the eye area.
Through operational and investigative measures, officers of the Jerashen Police Department determined that on August 24, a group of individuals had been involved in a dispute and brawl in the central part of the Gndevaz village. It was during this incident that the men sustained their injuries.
The identities of all participants in the incident have been established. One of them, a 25-year-old resident of Kechut, has been arrested. Measures are being taken to locate the other participants in the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Jerashen Police Department on hooliganism charges. The investigation is ongoing.
