VIDEO: Armed Citizen Detained in Vanadzor

The police continue measures aimed at discovering weapons and ammunition illegally held by the population. As part of an operational prevention measure, on August 25 at around 19:30, criminal investigators from the Bazum police department, acting on operational data, detained a 23-year-old resident of Isahakyan Street in Vanadzor on suspicion of holding and carrying weapons and ammunition.

During a personal search, a pistol loaded with 3 bullets was found in the waistband of his pants. A forensic examination has been ordered. Materials are being prepared on the incident.
