Two Mercedes Collide on Sebastia Street, Passenger Dies at the Scene

On August 24, at 09:43, the Emergency Service received a report that a traffic accident had occurred at the intersection of the "Akpharashen" neighborhood on Sebastia Street in Yerevan, with injuries reported and rescue services requested.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan branch was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, both "Mercedes C200" models driven by Vardan G. (born in 1985) and Artyom A. (born in 1995), had collided, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. A passenger, whose identity has not yet been established, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Before the rescuers arrived, bystanders had managed to remove the passenger's body from the vehicle, and rescuers subsequently transported the body to the ambulance arriving at the scene. The rescuers disconnected the power from the vehicles, closed the gas valve of one of the cars, and assisted the drivers towards the ambulance.

The injured were transported to "Astghik" Medical Center, where Vardan G.'s condition was assessed by doctors as serious, while Artyom A.'s condition was deemed satisfactory.
