Stabbing and Gunshots in Yerevan: One Injured

On August 23, at 19:45, the police received a report from the 'Erebuni' Medical Center that a 23-year-old young man had arrived for medical assistance with 'stab wounds to the left elbow joint and the front wall of the abdomen.' This was reported by the police.

According to the doctor's statement, he was unable to provide an explanation.

Thanks to the operational measures taken by the officers of the Erebuni division of the police, it was revealed that on the same day at 19:00, during a dispute on Artsakh Avenue, a 33-year-old resident of Nor-Nork had inflicted bodily injuries on the citizen with a cutting-stabbing tool in his possession.

It was also found that during the altercation, the young man who was taken to the hospital fired several shots at his assailant with a gas pistol he had on him.

Expert examinations have been appointed. A criminal case has been initiated. The investigation is underway.
