Samvel Aleksanyan at the Burning 'Malatia Mall': There Are Injured

In Yerevan, a fire has broken out at the 'Malatia Mall', resulting in injuries. The owner of 'Malatia Mall', well-known businessman Samvel Aleksanyan, is also present at the scene.

According to news.am, individuals, likely employees of 'Malatia Mall', are risking their safety by removing goods for sale from inside, including furniture, household appliances, and bicycles.

It is noted that today, on August 24, at 15:47, the '911' service received a report that a fire had erupted in the building of 'Malatia Mall' on Sebastia Street in Yerevan, and there are injured individuals.

Six fire-fighting units, two fire trucks, and specialized rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Armenia were dispatched to the scene with a complexity level rated at '2'. The teams include emergency response groups from the National Center for Crisis Management and psychologists from the psychological support division.

At 16:35, the complexity level of the fire was elevated to '3', prompting four additional fire-fighting units to head to the scene.
