Details on the Accident Involving Armenians in Krasnodar Krai

According to new data provided by the Embassy of Armenia in Russia, a fatal car accident occurred near Armavir in Krasnodar Krai. The accident resulted in the death of a 65-year-old driver from Armavir, who was driving a Nissan Qashqai, as well as three individuals in an Opel vehicle: a 35-year-old driver and two passengers aged 31 and 81, all of whom were Armenian citizens.

Additionally, a 9-year-old passenger from a minivan, also an Armenian citizen, sustained injuries in the accident. She has been transferred to the city hospital in Armavir and is currently in the intensive care unit.

The accident occurred on August 23 at around 17:40 on the 172nd kilometer of the 'Caucasus' federal highway, near the village of Zavetny.

It is noted that the Embassy of Armenia and the Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don are in constant contact with the relevant Russian authorities and the medical institution.
