Brawl and Assault: Club Director Hit Man with Broken Bottle on Head and Neck

On August 22, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Kotayk region. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 04:20, the police department of Nor Nork received a call from the Saint Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center reporting that a citizen had been admitted with "stab-wound injuries to the head and neck." As photoreporter Gagik Shamshyan reports, an operational group from the Nor Nork police department, led by an investigator from the investigative department, headed to the hospital. The doctors informed the police that the injured party was unable to provide an explanation about the incident.

While the doctors were fighting for his life, the officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kotayk police, under the leadership of the department head Artak Ghazaryan, identified the injured as 36-year-old Ararat Voskanyan, a resident of Yerevan. The Kotayk police also found out that on the same day, around 22:00, a dispute had occurred between A. Voskanyan and 25-year-old Suren Mosinyan, a resident of Yerevan, at the “Gold” club in the village of Balakhovit, under yet-to-be-determined circumstances, during which the latter hit A. Voskanyan with a broken beer bottle.

Yesterday, at around 17:30, the officers from the Kotayk police arrested S. Mosinyan in the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the materials prepared in the Nor Nork police department were transferred to the Kotayk police department, where the suspect S. Mosinyan informed the police that he is the director of the “Gold” club.
