5 People Killed in Crowd Surge at Concert in Algeria

During a concert by a popular rapper in the capital of Algeria, at least 5 people died as a result of a crowd surge, and more than 20 others were injured, according to reports from local media cited by the BBC. The concert featuring the artist known as Soolking took place last night at a stadium.

The surge occurred near one of the entrances to the venue. Reports indicate that the victims included 2 young men and 3 women. Fortunately, the lives of the injured are not in danger.

Despite the incident, Soolking continued his performance, which was broadcast live on Canal Algérie. The artist has yet to comment on the tragic events.
