Toxicity Accumulated Among the Elders Passes to the Heirs: Gevorg Petrosyan on Mariam Pashinyan's Post

Member of the National Assembly from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction, Gevorg Petrosyan, addressed a Facebook post by Mariam Pashinyan, the daughter of the Prime Minister of Armenia, made on August 21.

"The poison is more lethal for children... I encountered the post of Pashinyan's daughter and am somewhat perplexed. Has the turn to reprimand dissenters arrived for the heirs? I do not wish to discuss the rhetoric, which is certainly unacceptable... It seems that a child who has not even taken a step in politics is urging long-standing political and state figures to restrain the expression of their constitutional right to voice their opinions through yoga techniques (deep breathing and relaxation). I don’t recall any of the former leaders having their children conduct political preventive training for their parents' colleagues. However, that is not the most dangerous part. What is truly alarming is that, in this manner, the toxicity accumulated among the elders is, in fact, being passed on to the heirs. Believe me, this is a terrible threat to the future of our country. Can you imagine if children of other political and state figures start tearing each other apart with the same rhetoric? What direction are we taking the country in? And then, isn't it clear for anyone that this poison is especially lethal for children..."
