‘There is hope that the case can be closed’: Lawyer of the Khachatryan Sisters
The Khachatryan sisters, accused of murdering their father, Mikhail Khachatryan, are currently at home under a measure of restraint in the form of a ‘prohibition of certain actions.’ Angelina Khachatryan’s lawyer, Alexey Parshin, stated in a conversation with SHANTNEWS.am that the case is still in the investigative phase.
When asked whether it could be inferred that the Khachatryan sisters would be acquitted and released, the lawyer replied that they have been released but it is too early to talk about a trial.
We also inquired whether there is hope that the case may be closed. Parshin noted, ‘Of course, there is hope, but the predictions are unclear.’ He further informed that the Khachatryan sisters continue to remain at home: ‘They are under a measure of restraint in the form of a prohibition of certain actions.’
