Mr. Prime Minister, your failed words. Can you respond to the citizen?
We fought to make our country better, but the government is treating us, the citizens, even worse. This was stated today, on August 22, in a conversation with reporters by Valentin Sahakyan, a resident of the Aragatsavan community who is protesting in front of the government.
According to him, the village is currently in a crisis situation. “Today, fuel prices are skyrocketing; what should the villagers do today? What should they burn? They have neither apricots nor any harvest,” he stated.
He noted that many were surprised he had not been given a position given his active struggle. “I reiterate, I do not need an office; if I wanted a position, I would have enjoyed it with Mr. Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Even today, I could have become the Prime Minister. We are not putting on a show; we are fighting for the problems of citizens. Every word has been used to humiliate the citizen. You were the ones shouting from the podium; where has that humiliation gone? Mr. Prime Minister, your failed words; can you respond to the citizen?”
He also spoke about the emergency medical vehicle in Aragatsavan. “This vehicle has always been operational, but not for Yerevan or Talin; for example, it has brought patients from Manushyan Street to the polyclinic. The director is not allowed to operate the emergency vehicle as it should. I demand that a new vehicle be provided, equipped properly so that patients can be transported and treated correctly.”
He sent a letter to the Minister of Health requesting a new emergency vehicle for the community.
