Efforts to Extinguish Fire in Geghi Village's Vegetated Areas Continue

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Vardan Melikyan, has indicated that efforts to extinguish the fire that broke out in the vegetated areas of Geghi village in the Syunik region on August 20 are ongoing. The operation involves 35 firefighters and rescuers, 20 employees from the Kapan branch of the Armenian Forests State Non-Commercial Organization, 20 staff members from the Zangezur Biosphere Complex, 30 soldiers, and 10 local residents.
