Brawl Involving Nuclear Power Plant Employees

The investigation department of the Baghramyan police station has initiated a criminal case under the first part of Article 258, section 3 of the RA Criminal Code, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

The case was opened on August 11, regarding an incident in the "Dalarik's Gorge - Paradise" recreational area in the Armavir region, where a group of individuals assaulted 25-year-old Armen Hakobyan, a resident of Dalarik village.

On August 20, police officers apprehended 32-year-old Mher Melikyan, 34-year-old Armen Sayadyan, 37-year-old Karen Hovhannisyan, 37-year-old Artak Martirosyan, and 31-year-old Robert Grigoryan, all residents of the city of Metsamor.

The mentioned individuals are suspected of having assaulted A. Hakobyan at the recreational area. It has also been revealed that 38-year-old Volodya Barsegyan, also a resident of Metsamor, participated in the brawl. According to reports, V. Barsegyan works at the nuclear power plant as a valve engineer, M. Melikyan serves as the shift supervisor, A. Sayadyan is an architect, and A. Martirosyan works as an installer at the nuclear power plant's "Shin" LLC.

After providing explanations regarding the incident, all individuals were released. The investigation is ongoing.
