Sona Aghekyan and Ararat Khachikyan Released
The former member of the Yerevan Council, Sona Aghekyan, and the head of the Yerevan Municipality's Department of Communal Services, Ararat Khachikyan, have been released. This was reported to NEWS.am by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
It is worth noting that Khachikyan had met with citizens protesting in front of the Yerevan Municipality, including Sona Aghekyan and members of the Prosperous Armenia faction, Vahe Enfiadzhyan and Naira Zohrabyan. During the conversation, Sona Aghekyan suggested that he 'breathe in the stench resulting from the lack of sewage system' from a container she brought with her. Following this, Khachikyan emptied the contents of the container, which led to the police detaining Sona Aghekyan. Ararat Khachikyan was also summoned to the police station for clarification purposes.
It should be noted that several families at 86 Ayghkuyzanner Street are protesting against the lack of a sewage system due to two judges living at 91 Rostomyanc Street.
