Restrictions to Be Imposed on Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Highway from August 19-22
From August 19 to 22, restrictions will be imposed on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway. This was reported by the Department of Roads under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
Due to the renovation works on the bridge over the Terek River on the 125 km section of the internationally significant Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway, the traffic of vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers will be prohibited in that section from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM during the specified dates. All other types of vehicles will be allowed to pass freely.
"Traffic in this mode will be monitored by the patrol police," the statement from the department said.
