Putin Awards Titles to Pilots Who Successfully Landed Damaged Aircraft
Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded the title of Hero to two pilots of "Ural Airlines" who successfully landed a damaged aircraft in an unplanned location near Moscow. The country's leader announced this during a meeting with the members of the Security Council.
He noted that the commander of the aircraft, Damir Yusupov, and co-pilot Georgy Murzin were granted the title of Hero of Russia, while the aircraft crew received the Courage award.
