Thieves Rob Notorious Criminal Figure Sibir Gago's House in Yerevan
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a particularly large-scale residential burglary occurred in Yerevan on August 12. The Malatia police department received a report that an unknown person or persons entered an apartment in one of the buildings on Babajanyan Street by cutting the iron bars of a window with special equipment and stole gold and silver jewelry, antique items, a large sum of money, legally registered weapons in the owners' names, expensive beverages, and other items.
Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that an operational group from the Malatia police department arrived at the scene, led by the department head Artur Zohrabyan and the deputy head for operational matters Andranik Shahbazyan. A team from the Malatia investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia also arrived. Specialists from the forensic expert department of the police were also working on-site.
According to the photojournalist, the mentioned house belongs to the notorious criminal figure Sibir Gago, who is currently in the Russian Federation.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Malatia investigative division regarding the incident.
