The Average Monthly Number of Registered Unemployed Decreased by 6.4%: Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated on his Facebook page, "The average monthly number of officially registered unemployed individuals decreased by 6.4% in the first half of 2019 compared to the same period last year.

During the same period in 2019, mandatory payments to the Military Insurance Fund (1000 drams) exceeded the figures for January-June 2018 by 347.8 million drams or 9.6%. This increase is a result of the growth in the number of wage earners."
