Severe Hailstorm in Ukraine Causes Significant Damage to Police Fleet

A severe hailstorm that struck the small town of Storožynец in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine has caused serious damage to buildings, vehicles, and crops. Specifically, the unexpected harsh weather has inflicted damage on the entire vehicle fleet of the city police department.

This information was shared by regional council chairman Ivan Muntyan on his Facebook page, according to korrespondent.net.

He noted that the intense rain accompanied by hail has damaged the roofs of numerous buildings, shattered windows, and harmed agricultural production.

As of the morning of August 14, 26 settlements in the region are still without electricity supply.
