British Magazine Highlights Armenians and Their History
The magazine 'Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Today' has published an article presenting Armenia as a country with an ancient culture that occupies a strategic position on the global map. Interestingly, the cover of the magazine's August issue features an image of the Armenian alphabet.
The authors of the articles about Armenia visited the country this year to participate in the 'Armenian Ideas Summit'. They emphasized that 'Armenia continues to make significant contributions in various fields, including global science, classical music, and chess, while the Armenian people are known for their hospitality towards visitors and neighbors.'
The authors also addressed the topic of the Armenian Genocide, stating that between 1915 and 1922, around 1.5 million Armenians were systematically massacred by the authorities in the Ottoman Empire. They pointed out that this horrific crime has never received proper recognition by the international community due to political pressures.
Despite this, the authors noted that Armenia has withstood the test of time and continues to live, thrive, and develop with renewed vigor.
