A U.S. Citizen Dies Following Tragic Car Accident in Yerevan
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a U.S. citizen passed away days ago at the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center after being transferred there following a major and tragic car accident that occurred in Yerevan on July 12. The accident resulted in the deaths of two individuals, while several others were taken to various hospitals in Yerevan with injuries of varying degrees.
As previously reported by a photojournalist from the scene, the particularly important cases senior investigator of the Yerevan traffic accident investigation division of the Armenian Investigative Committee, Artur Gasoyan, mandated several examinations, including a forensic genetic analysis, to ascertain the level of sobriety of the deceased driver and passenger of the Mercedes involved in the incident, as well as the driver of the Nissan.
It was revealed that the deceased driver of the Mercedes, Gurgan S., and passenger Zhora A. were studying at the Yerevan branch of the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. They were top students at the institution and were studying on a full scholarship.
