Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen Road Section Closed for Trucks

The Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen road section is closed for trucks. Alternative routes have been established: Stepanavan-Tashir-Gogavan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that as of August 11 at 08:15, traffic on the roads in the Republic of Armenia is passable. This information has been provided by the press service of the Armenian MES.

According to information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Construction works are ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen road, which has led to the closure of the section for trucks. The following alternative routes have been established: Stepanavan-Tashir-Gogavan and Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
