Mikhail Gorbachev Health Issues Denied by Press Service

The reports concerning the declining health of Mikhail Gorbachev, the first and only President of the USSR, are baseless, his press service stated on Saturday to Interfax.

“We were surprised by the reports about Mikhail Sergeyevich's poor health, as there are no grounds for such information,” his press service commented.

According to Interfax's sources, “Gorbachev went to work at the foundation yesterday and met with the foundation's employees.”
