Solar Systems to Be Installed on 90 Buildings in Yerevan; Interested Residents Should Apply to the Municipality

As part of the second phase of the program "EU for Yerevan: Solar Community," plans are in place to install solar photovoltaic systems on the roofs of approximately 90 apartment buildings. New energy-efficient lighting systems will also be implemented in the entrances of these buildings.

According to the Municipality of Yerevan, courtyard lighting fixtures will be replaced, and energy-efficient lamps will be provided to a number of underprivileged families living in the apartment buildings.

To participate in the program, the management body of the apartment building (association) must fill out and approve an application and commitment. This application and commitment must then be submitted to the Development and Investment Programs Department of the Yerevan Municipality by August 30, 2019, 4:00 PM.
